Pool Knight Pool Service
Pool service chemical and cleaning procedures:
Pool checks weekly on agreed upon day or days.
Equipment inspection included in any level of service.
Pool chemical balance checked weekly
Service types
- full service:
(skimming, brushing, emptying skimmer basket and vacuum bag. Also balance pool chemicals (ph, chlorine, alkalinity,hardness,etc.)

Balance pool chemicals (ph, chlorine, alkalinity,hardness,etc.) and skimmer basket emptied.

Chemicals
- Pool Knight pool service uses Chlorine , acid, tabs, calcium hydrochloride, and algaecide will be part of the monthly price.
- Additional chemicals may be needed that are not part of monthly fee to maintain correct water balance
- Chemicals in excess due to pool leaks or other problems are not included and customers will be contacted.
- Pool Knight pool service requires you to add a mineral purifier (pool RX) to your pool skimmer in the spring to fight algae blooms and uses recharging booster every 6 months
Equipment
- Failing equipment can cause pool water to not circulate or other problems, such as debris.
- Pool Knight pool service technician is not responsible to fix broken equipment or remove all debris in the case of an event not caused by employee. Customers will be informed and advised at time of occurrence.
- Pool owners must run pumps/filters to circulate pool a couple hours in the winter and a minimum of 4 hours in other months daily. Unless pool is covered and winterized and shut down in cold months.
Customers and access
- Service is month to month and not locked into a yearly contract
- On service day gate,door,etc must be unlocked or entry code or key provided or service will be pushed to a later time
- No dogs out or other animals that can get out or injure pool technician or get into chemicals.
- Adequate access to walkways and pool required, trash,feces, or other obstructions will impede service
- Customer is required to have a working pool sweep or other pool cleaner
- Pool covers need to be off on service day to adequately service pool
Invoicing and Payment Terms:
- There are no summer surprise charges/fees
- Customers are asked to buy a pool RX as it helps greatly to keep algae from growing in pools
- Service is month to month and payment is due on first day of each month
- Type of service and size of pool affects price
- Monthly invoices will be sent via email or text message if requested
- Additions will be agreed upon then invoiced
Termination and Renewal:
- The Conditions for terminating service are failure to run pumps systems, chemicals/foreign material in pools, and a period of non payment.
- Account renewal is on a case by case basis and can be resumed immediately.
- Property damage that is not wear and tear is covered by technician and will be replaced
- Technician has insurance to cover chemical responsibilities
Emergency Procedures:
- In the event of (leaks, spills, and equipment failures). Technician will contain and stops spills.
- Equipment will be shut down if malfunctioning.
- If pool is leaking customer will be notified
